Beschreibung

Wake Up and Sell More Coffee tells you the inside secrets of how the very best operators made a success of their coffee houses, and how you can too.

Worldwide openings of coffee shops continue to grow at unprecedented rates. For their new book, `Coffee Boys` John Richardson and Hugh Gilmartin have obtained firsthand advice from the owners, baristas and managers of the best independent coffee shops and cafes in the world, and coupled that with industry expertise from suppliers and consultants.

This book gives you the answers to two key questions:

- What is the one thing you wish you'd known before you started your cafe or coffee shop?
- What do you believe is the secret to the success of your business, and of great coffee shops and cafes in general?

The answers come from a wide range of award winning and highly successful entrepreneurs. This is combined with exhaustive research carried out in conjunction with the industry trade body Caffè Culture to ensure that both existing operators and start-ups have the vital information - from beans and grinding techniques to roasteries, brewing and equipment - they need to make a success of their businesses.

Über den Autor
John Richardson is an author, coach and consultant to the hospitality industry where he specialises in helping coffee shop owners increase profits and make their businesses run more efficiently. He has worked with everything from single site operators to chains with multiple sites and turnovers in the hundreds of millions. Before becoming an advisor to the industry John built and sold a wide range of hospitality businesses on his own behalf - including sandwich bars, coffee shops, restaurants, bars and garden centres. His first job, at the age of 14, was cleaning tables at Morelli's famous ice cream café in Portstewart. So it's fair to say that the industry is in his blood.
