He has served as Chief of the Division of Anatomic Pathology, at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.. Additionally, Professor Russo is Co-Chair of the Pathology Committee for the Childhood Liver Disease Research and Education Network (ChiLDREN). He is also Editor-in-Chief of the journal Pediatric and Developmental Pathology. He is board certified by the American Board of Pathology/Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and the American Board of Pathology/Pediatric Pathology. His special interests are the pathology of hepatobiliary and digestive disorders in children, and his research has focused on the mechanisms of cholestasis and on bile duct disorders, having published extensively on these and related topics .
Eduardo D. Ruchelli, MD, is Associate Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and Attending Pathologist at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. He is board certified by the American Board of Pathology/Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and the American Board of Pathology/Pediatric Pathology. His special interests include fetal and perinatal pathology, pathologic evaluation of the pancreas in congenital hyperinsulinism, and eosinophilic esophagitis. He has published widely on these and other subjects in peer-reviewed journals.
David A. Piccoli, MD, is Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. He has served asChief of the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Director of the Fred and Suzanne Biesecker Pediatric Liver Center and Associate Chair for Information, Department of Pediatrics, The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. He is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Pediatrics/Pediatric Gastroenterology. His special interests include Alagille syndrome, bile duct disorders, and inflammatory bowel disease, and he has published extensively on these and other topics. Professor Piccoli has also been the recipient of various awards, including the Outstanding Leadership Award from the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America, the Leadership Award from the American Liver Foundation, the Murray Davidson Award from the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, and the Master Clinician Award from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
