A mermaid candelabra. Taxidermized howler monkeys. A house of wax. And yes, a real witch's door. These are some of the unusual, eclectic, and darkly mystifying artifacts that Ryan and Regina Cohn, creators of the Brooklyn-originated Oddities Flea Market, have amassed over the years. Part narrative history, part memoir and part travelogue, it takes readers all over the world, from Berlin to Paris to Brooklyn, giving them an inside scoop on how Regina and Ryan purchase artifacts to sell, as well as those that they want to keep.
