Beschreibung
This is the only book in eighty years to deal with traditional secret societies from a comparative perspective. It is also the only study undertaken with an archaeological viewpoint. The conclusions will be eye-opening not only for archaeologists, but for anthropologists, students of religion, and political scientists.
