Über den Autor
William OuYang shares his story with a touch of humor and humility. He recalls how, during his undergraduate studies at the University of Notre Dame, his professor jokingly suggested he might be Irish, given that his last name, "OuYang," pronounced O'Young sounded similar to Irish surnames like O'Malley, O'Brian, and O'Connor. Notre Dame, famously known as the home of the Fighting Irish, added to the humor. Although William is Chinese American, he finds the idea of being "1% Irish" amusing.William highlights his unique background, noting that Ireland has both Catholic and Protestant traditions, and his own family reflects this duality-his mother was Catholic, and his father was Protestant. William holds a Master of Divinity (MDiv) degree from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary and identifies as Protestant in theology. However, he strives to love others with the heart of a [...] earning his theological degrees, William served as a pastor for ten years at Mississauga Chinese Christian Church in Canada. Now residing in Gilbert, Arizona, he occasionally speaks as a visiting pastor and is available for guest speaking engagements or weekend retreats.William's favorite Bible verse is Matthew 7:7: "Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and the door will be opened to you." He believes his pursuit of understanding the Lord through His Word has led to profound insights, which he hopes to share in his book. He expresses gratitude to God for revealing connections in Scripture and looks forward to sharing these with [...]: Friends and family will be shocked this book is not chock-full of grammar and syntax errors. Pastor William has ideas from the Lord but admits he's no Shakespeare. His book took two trips to [...] professional Joey Hoelscher, who performed over 200 grammar and syntax. So, if you think the book is well-written, give Joey a round of applause-Pastor William is just the guy with the ideas!
