Über den Autor
Nicolas Mitric studied graphic design at the ESDI (École Supérieure de Design Industriel) in Paris in 1989. In 1993, he began the first research for what would become his first comic book series in 1998: Arkeod, published by Soleil. For volume 2, he was awarded the Coup de Cœur prize at the Chambéry Festival in 2001.
One year later, the first volume of a long collaboration with Crisse was published: Kookaburra Universe, which tells the story of the origins of the charismatic Dragan Preko, hero of the successful science fiction series Kookaburra, whose drawing Crisse entrusted to him in 2004. In 2006, he became the collection director of this space-opera in 27 volumes, divided into three series, and in 2007, he scripted Kookaburra K, in collaboration with Humberto Ramos and co-edited by Marvel in the United States.
At the same time, from 2003, he designed four new series for which he is the scriptwriter: Tessa -intergalactic agent-, Anatole and company, Aquarius, and The Way of Silence. The first of them was nominated for the 9/12 years old prize at the 2005 Angoulême International Festival and received the prize of the Maison Laffitte Festival.
In 2010 he signed Seven Dragons with Delcourt, drawn by Sylvain Guinebaud and in 2012 at Glénat, the book Ultime voyage en Alchimie, prize of the Creil book festival.
In 2015, he moved to Nantes to co-found the transmedia company Termites Factory. He also publishes several games, for which he is the art director and illustrator (such as Legendary Celtic Games, Legendary Pirates and Corsairs, Cthulhu Hunters).
In 2018, he created the Celtigans, a series of illustrated children's novels, mixing Breton and Celtic legends and the graphic universe of manga.
