Beschreibung
To feel lost in life and lost in the world is a natural result of a traumatic, life-altering event. With no one to talk to, but lost in thought instead, the meaning of home is questioned, challenged, and found. Out of all the things to start this chain of thought processes stands a hermit crab, looking for an empty shell to claim. It is observed, loved, and the catalyst to the healing journey.

What is home?

Driven by this question at its core, this reflective tale explores what it means to feel at home in a place, as well as in your own body.

Über den Autor
is originally from Luxembourg and fell in love with storytelling at the ripe old age of seven, when she wrote her first two-page story about ducklings. Aged 24, she has a BA in English, and is completing her MA in Communication, both at the University of Amsterdam. As a result of her studies, linguistic elements and references to literature constantly sneak their way into her writing. Aside from journalism, she also worked with student associations and student magazines (shoutout to TXT in Leiden) for more writing projects. Craving creativity, she is constantly brainstorming and writing and drafting, with the ultimate dream of publishing one of her many plot bunnies. This one, about finding hope and home and trust and love, is shaped with themes that are all very dear to her as she wrote it while in the middle of moving internationally.
Her biggest writing inspiration is R. F. Kuang.
