Henry the Hedgegnome's Great Aunt Hogerty is staying at the zoo, but when Henry visits her to deliver some gifts, his dealings with the other animals land him in all sorts of trouble.
Book 8 in the Henry the Hedgegnome series, sees Henry heading away from his garden to visit Dartmoor Zoo where they have a hedgehog rescue centre called the Prickly Hedge Lodge. As he makes his way through the grounds of the zoo he has some unfortunate encounters with an ostrich, a monkey, a chameleon, and a lion. And that's before he even finds his bad-tempered Great Aunt Hogerty.
This story about the little hedgehog is funny, charming and entertaining with simple colourful illustrations. A fun bedtime story to read to younger children and just as enjoyable for early readers to read themselves (or to their younger siblings).
A funny and easy to read story with beautifully simple illustrations.

Über den Autor
Richard Heddington grew up in the South West of England.
He drew his first Hedgegnome while at school in the mid seventies, but for much of the past four decades, Henry the Hedgegnome has been hibernating in the attic.
It was while reading bedtime stories to his nephew and granddaughter that he had the idea of calling Henry the Hedgegnome back into action.
The rest is to become history.
