We All Need a Guru to Guide Our Way . . .
Who Better than RuPaul to Be Your Personal GuRu?

From the moment he applied his first false eyelashes, RuPaul has been making a statement—with his bold approach to drag, his fearlessness in music, film, and television, and his willingness to speak truth not only to his fans, but also the world. His beloved series RuPaul’s Drag Race brought drag queens to prime time. His DragCon connects the queens with their legions of devotees—of all ages, genders, and persuasions. His music is pure joy and creativity; his speeches and podcast full of wit and humor, but also wisdom that inspires and teaches. RuPaul truly is an icon, and a national treasure . . . and he can rock any look he pleases.

As someone who has deconstructed life’s hilarious facade, RuPaul truly expands on the concept of mind, body, and spirit every day. This unique perspective has allowed RuPaul to break down his own self-imposed limitations, but reader beware—this is a daily practice that requires diligence. Once you’re willing to look beyond the identity that was given to you, a hidden world of possibilities will open its doors. GuRu, packed full of never-before-seen images from his career, is RuPaul’s guidebook to keep you walking in the sunshine of the spirit.

GuRu is full of RuPaul’s secrets for success not only in show business, but in all aspects of life, especially in navigating the emotional landmines that inhibit most sweet, sensitive souls.
