A former university lecturer and Deputy Director of London's Institute of Contemporary Arts, she has made programs for television and co-edited many books, including The Rushdie File and Science and Beyond. John Forrester, Professor of History and Philosophy of the Sciences at Cambridge University, is a noted Freud scholar and writer on psychoanalysis. He is a co-translator of Lacan's Seminars I and II.
